Representative Council of Learners

The RCL is a dynamic leadership body where two representatives from each grade are democratically selected to serve. Their role is to act as the voice of their peers, ensuring that every student has a platform to contribute to the school’s direction and environment.

Class representation

  • Representing their class at RCL meetings
  • Providing suggestions for school improvement
  • Enforcing school rules
  • Leading class-related initiatives, such as grade month events and class motivation

Service delivery

  • Organizing gate services for home gatherings
  • Coordinating fundraising for school projects
  • Celebrating staff birthdays
  • Assisting with parent evenings
  • Planning and executing school events like Spring Day

The RCL Executive Committee

Our RCL Executive Committee consists of Grade 11 learners who are passionate about leading their peers. These students apply and are democratically selected to serve, overseeing school activities and events. The Student Council functions as the RCL’s Executive Committee, organizing school-wide initiatives and leading multiple committees focused on different aspects of school life.
